Photo Keeper is a simple app that allows you to keep all your favorite photos on your iPhone, while freeing up storage space to take even more photos!
Photo Keeper is able to reduce the storage by resizing your photos to better fit the screen on your phone.
Photo Keeper is able to save storage space by resizing the photos on your phone to better match the size of your device's screen.
This really depends on your device and the number of photos you have stored. But an average user can expect to save several gigabytes (GB) of storage space.
No. It is up to you to delete the original photos when you are ready.
There are many reasons for preventing Photo Keeper from deleting the original photos, but the most compelling reason is that it is simply not possible to do this in iOS. Only Apple's apps can delete photos.
If the number is split (for example, 37 / 163), the first number is the number of photos in the album which have been imported into Photo Keeper; the second number is the total number of photos in the album. If there is just a single number, it is the number of photos in the Photo Keeper album and there are no new photos in the album to import.
At the moment, you can't e-mail/text/share photos directly from Photo Keeper. However, you can export any photo in Photo Keeper back to your Camera Roll, where you can then e-mail/text/share the photo.
At the moment, you can't. But at about 150k per photo, you probably won't be able to save much space by deleting a few photos anyway. That being said, we are working in this, so keep an eye out for delete in future releases.
When you launch Photo Keeper, it checks the photo albums on your phone (including the default "Camera Roll" album) for any photos not yet imported into Photo Keeper. Photo Keeper will display a list of albums, complete with thumbnail image and photo count. Simply tap on an album in the list to import the photos in that album.
It depends on how many photos you are importing. It may only take a few seconds. But if you have a lot of photos (over 1000), it may take a few minutes.
Once the import starts, you cannot stop it. However, if you hit the home button to return to the springboard, Photo Keeper will stop importing photos. When you return to the Photo Keeper app, Photo Keeper will continue the import where it left off.
It will depend on the image and the size of your screen, but on average each Photo Keeper photo requires about 200k of storage. If you have 2000 photos, you can expect Photo Keeper to take up around 400MB.

Photo Keeper still needs to save imported files to your device; if there's not enough storage space, it can't import any more photos. You will need to make more room on your device, then re-start the import. Luckily, allowing you to free up space on your device is the whole point of Photo Keeper. The easiest way to make more room is to take a look at Photo Keeper to see which photos have been successfully imported, then go to the Photos app and delete the originals.
To export a photo, simply use Photo Keeper to navigate to the photo you want to export. In the top right corner of the full screen photo view, there is an "Export" button. Just tap the button, and the photo will be exported. The exported photo will appear in your Saved Photos in the Photos app.
